The title of this illustration is “Eden”, like the original Garden with the archetypal couple. One of each element of creation is depicted: plant, mammal, insect, earth, water, air, fire.
The insect is a moth, symbolizing transformation, becoming something else.
The male and female couple represent the unity and complementarity of everything on this planet.
The colors are soft and warm, yet vibrant.
I did this illustration while I was listening to Rob Lanes’ inspiring original score for the Sky Original drama, #ADiscoveryofWitches, Season 2.
