“Beauty is in the details”.

Maite Leon explores the subtleties of organic forms inspired by nature and symbolism in figurative minimalistic compositions. She deliberately focuses on creating digital art, using materials and hand made textures that she creates traditionally with paint or ink, which she then scans and adds to each piece to give it more substance and texture. Her works are printed in limited editions as variable format, with long lasting pigments on archival paper, and have a very low impact on the environment and her health. She works with Procreate and Photoshop and also explores other mediums such as oil and acrylic paint or graphite powder.
