Refund and Returns Policy

Please choose your artwork carefully as we do not accept returns. All items are final sale. For further details contact us: shop@maiteleon.com.

Maité Leon is 100% committed to the Client’s satisfaction:  These items are exempt from being returned and are non-refundable, unless specified otherwise:

    • Signed limited edition Fine Art Prints
    • Original works
    • Greeting cards
    • Custom orders or commission works made specifically for you
    • Downloadable and virtual products (eBooks, Screensavers, and Services)

1 • Damaged Artwork

To avoid accidentally damaging your edition, proceed carefully when unpacking and handling the artwork. We do not accept returns unless the item you purchased arrived damaged or faulty. 

If you receive a damaged item, please contact us immediately at shop@maiteleon.com with the order/purchase number and photos of the damage and we will do our best to sort it out swiftly.

2 • Refunds

To complete your refund, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Refunds are provided after we verify that payment has been received and that the item’s physical shipment has been returned to us. If your request is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

2.1 Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at shop@maiteleon.com.

3 • Exchanges

Original artworks and Signed Fine Art Limited Editions and original works cannot be exchanged. We decline any responsibility if they arrive defective or damaged. However, for any questions and to notify us about any inconvenience, send us an email at shop@maiteleon.com.

We cannot accommodate exchanges at this time as the items are at risk of being damaged on the way back to us.

4 • Shipping returns

If you need to return a faulty or damaged item, you should mail it to: Maite Leon Shop, 232 rue des Pyrénées, 75020 Paris, France.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. You may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
